The main hall holds 160 individuals and comes equipped with sound system, stage, gallery space, chairs and tables. Other spaces include a large lobby, backstage area and two greenrooms. The statewide tourism event is designed to showcase the people, products, and places of NH. Artisans, craftspeople, specialty food producers, retail shops, restaurants, farm stands and orchards, lodging properties, cultural events, and attractions “open their doors” to the public, and offer special events, i.e. a craft demonstration, a book signing, a workshop for kids, hayrides, food samplings, special menus featuring local NH foods, special music or performances from NH artisans, and special lodging packages to attract visitors. General Application Grants
The mission of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is to improve the quality of life in New Hampshire and some adjoining communities in Vermont and Maine. Application grants are designed to fulfill the Foundation's mission by offering a competitive grant process twice each year to organizations working across a wide variety of areas including arts and culture, education, the environment, health and human services, and other public affairs.
