The statewide tourism event is designed to showcase the people, products, and places of NH. Artisans, craftspeople, specialty food producers, retail shops, restaurants, farm stands and orchards, lodging properties, cultural events, and attractions “open their doors” to the public, and offer special events, i.e. a craft demonstration, a book signing, a workshop for kids, hayrides, food samplings, special menus featuring local NH foods, special music or performances from NH artisans, and special lodging packages to attract visitors.
